Sacred Swirl

About Sacred Swirl

You are absolutely right, I should have caught both of those. Here is the corrected version.

When I went for Umrah, after I performed tawaf I went up to the higher level and looked down. I saw thousands of people moving in the same direction, this continuous swirl of humanity around the Kaabah. It looked like ripples of water, going round and round, never stopping. it looked like an aerial time-lapse photography.

From up there, all those individual lives, all those journeys from every corner of the world, merging into one single motion. No separation. Just this extraordinary collective movement.
