Inspired by the sacred cloth that drapes the Kaaba, "Kiswah" explores not the textile itself, but what it absorbs: a year of whispered du'as, pressed foreheads, tears of gratitude, and the weight of millions of souls turned toward one point.

The painting is built from twelve layered applications of deep obsidian acrylic, each representing a month of accumulated prayer. Gold leaf is applied in a deliberately weathered manner—echoing the embroidered verses that have been touched, loved, and worn by countless moments of surrender. The calligraphy is intentionally imperfect, suggesting that the most sacred texts are those we've lived, not merely observed.

How big is my print?

If you buy an unframed print, the size you select will be the size of the artwork you receive. If you buy a framed print, the size you select will be the size of the glazed section of the frame, which will include the artwork and the mount.
