Website Refresh

Alhamdulillah.

I have been working on refreshing my website for the last couple of months. I wanted to show a little more of the work behind the work, the process, the story, the thinking. The three questions I am asked most about my paintings are always the same: how long did it take, how did you do it, and what was the inspiration. In this refreshed site I have tried to give a little bit of an answer to each of them.

Going back through each of the paintings I have shown on the site has been really good for me. It was almost meditative and reflective. It was like repainting each piece in my head. I hope that comes through when you read about them.

Technology does not come naturally to me and I have done my best, but I am sure there is plenty that can still be improved. I am genuinely grateful to my creative WhatsApp group friends who looked at the site, pointed out the glaring mistakes, and gave me tips to make it better. You know who you are. Thank you.
